It’s only October but it’s never too early to think about Christmas!  Great for small gatherings and parties, the laid-back atmosphere with rustic reclaimed wood tables and Scandinavian simplicity at Fish & Meat is perfect for Christmas celebrations.  Delight in a range of Fish & Meat’s classic dishes this festive season along with some free range turkey.  Available from December 1st through the 26th. Fish & Meat’s free range turkey is served two ways: one with turkey breast alongside Italian sausage with crunchy hazelnuts and sage and the other as a turkey leg ragout and creamy polenta.  The creamy polenta can be found on Fish & Meat’s regular menu and remains one of our favorites.  Great starters to go along with the turkey include the newly added Oven Roasted Indian Ocean Tiger Prawns with lardo di colonata, chilli and lemon as well as Farmed Salmon Tartar cured with carrot and gin with braised spring vegetables, corn puree and poached egg.  The spicy prawns set our tongues on fire and these are highly addictive!  This is well complemented by the milder tasting and creamy salmon tartar.  Not to be missed is of course our all-time favorite lemon pie with the perfect balance of sweet and sourness!
