Popular LKF cocktail bar and restaurant revamped
Contact

Those who know Hong Kong’s Lan Kwai Fong district will know Post 97 all too well.  This popular cocktail bar and restaurant has recently opened its doors after an extensive refurbishment-to the exteriors and its menus.  Capturing London in all its glory days, guests will be transported to the low-lit and mysterious Victorian home of Theodre St. John-an English botanist, chemist and adventuer, after passing through a black curtain.  This interesting marriage of botany, booze and food is evident in the innovative drinks and food menus at Post 97.  Signature cocktails are plants and herbs inspired, with some of our favorites including the refreshing Punch Detox with Martin Millers gin, yellow bell pepper juice, pineapple, lemon juice and dark agave syrup and for a bit more punch, the Punica Swizzle with rosemary infused Ketel One vodka, pomegrenate, lemon juice, vinegar, and syrup.  These drinks created by mixologist Jay Khan are art pieces in themselves.  Showcasing a variety of British and European comfort food, chef Brian Moore has created the perfect dishes to go alongside the amazing coctails.  The Fried Camembert de Normandy dipped into American Cranberry Compote is heavenly, with creamy melted camembert inside a crispy pocket.  Comfort food doesn’t get any better than the Roasted Organic Sweet Potato with jalapeno, quesco fresco and yuzu dressing-a perfect sweet and spicy match.  If you want that extra bit of alcohol in your dessert, don’t miss the Blood Orange & Negroni Jelly that is presented within a blood orange!
