Hong Kong’s Eco-Chic Furniture Shop Revamps its Website

Most eco-minded or style-savvy Hongkongers know that if you’re looking for a beautiful sofa or a cool coffee table made from sustainable materials, TREE is the place to shop. Since 2005, the uber-popular furniture company has been the go-to place for people who want chic, beautiful décor but don’t want to compromise on their ethics for their aesthetics.

TREE’s whole business is built around giving back. Their 10-year partnership with Indonesian non-profit TREEs4TREEs supports local communities and natural areas in Indonesia. In 10 years, TREE has planted over 60,000 trees – and in doing so has provided many jobs for local farmers and community workers. To celebrate their 10th anniversary year TREE has pledged to plant 10,000 more trees this year to bring the total to 70,000, and is committed long-term to continue the programme with the support of its customers.

Another string to TREE’s eco-friendly bow is that their collections are, famously, made with eco-friendly materials such as wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, which is an international organization that promotes a safe and environmentally friendly management of the world’s forests. As TREE puts it, “you get more than a beautiful home, you get the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you’re supporting a brand that has giving back at the heart of everything we are.”

And now for the exciting news. Alongside their two showrooms in Hong Kong, each one catering to the local markets in their unique area, TREE’s website has just undergone a major renovation and has come out not only looking fabulous, but with all-new functionality as well.

Now, you can use the site to explore TREE’s furniture, from iconic designs to new collections, or create your own wish list and send directly to TREE's friendly sales staff, who will arrange your order and delivery. In time for the new fall season collections, the elegant site is easy to get around and super-welcoming, just like their brick-and-mortar stores. Visitors can browse according to furniture category, what’s new, ‘by room’ or just look for inspiration.

In addition to the new and improved website, customers to TREE can check out what’s on the menu at the TREE Café located in Horizon Plaza, book a home styling appointment, or read about the history of TREE and its core values and their sustainability. We’re bookmarking this one for sure!
