Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition 2015

The eighth edition of the Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition is set to take place next week! With a strategic aim to nurture environmental business, technology and information exchange between China's Pearl River Delta Region and international markets, the event is one of the more prominent platforms of its type in the region - and Ecozine is a proud Media Partner for the thrid year in a row!
We'll be at the exhibition throughout the three-day event, so do drop by our booth (#D-60) and say hello, between the many fascination workshops, presentations and demonstrations that will be taking place!
Since its inception in 2008, MIECF has acquired positive commercial feedback across the board, and grown considerably year to year. Gathering some of the biggest names in the green business industry, this year's MIECF will continue that trend, hosting panels, forums, and conferences to discuss various methods for businesses to contribute to a greener economy.
The Former Prime Minister of Norway, Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland, has been appointed to officiate the Opening Ceremony, and the intensive Green Showcase and Green Forum programmes include the discussion of air quality solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors, reviewing transportation systems, and more on the climate change conversation from the business perspective.
Looking at the pressing topic of air quality, MIECF will facilitate discussions on how using energy more efficiently will bring direct benefit to businesses as well as reduce pollutants. This entails the exploration of cutting-edge technologies and new solutions for efficient air pollution control.
The event will also be reviewing air quality and the transportation industry, keeping in mind the goal of Clean Urban Air, as it necessitates zero-emission transport systems that will care for the environment while moving commuters and goods efficiently over a distance daily.
Last but not least, of course one cannot ignore the 'heated' conversations about climate change, so a session will be held to analyze various strategies for integrating policy and technology into mitigating climate change, and building sustainable development strategies with climate change considerations.
MIECF will be held on 26-28 March, 2015 at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel. Please visit the website (macaomiecf.com) for detailed information. We hope to see you there!
