Catering to Asia’s growing hunger for organic and natural goods, the Natural & Organic Products Asia fair (NOPA) returns to Hong Kong August 26-28 (Wed-Fri) with a dramatically increased repertoire of over 1,000 brands from 50 countries.

Set to be a massive 70 per cent bigger than the previous fair - both in scope and in scale - NOPA 2015 includes manufacturers, leading food and beverage brands and traders, health and nutrition, natural living and beauty sectors among its exhibitors. Exciting new launches from various countries include Andean Valley Quinoa of Bolivia, Premibio organic milk powder from France, and Natural Fiji organic coconut skincare products. Ecozine will also be there, as will SpiceBox Organics, Vegware, Natural Essentials and Body Awakening.

Consistent product-safety scandals have contributed to a boom in demand for health and wellness products in China, as consumers look for products they can trust. It’s predicted that by 2020 China’s organic product-consumption will increase by 50 per cent, placing it as the fourth biggest organic goods market in the world.

Having liberal free-trade laws, Hong Kong is the perfect place for NOPA’s 60 per cent overseas exhibitors and 90 per cent international brands to come together, and facilitates open access between buyers and sellers, and re-export to the rest of Asia. NOPA 2015 also boasts the first Soil Association (SA) trade pavilion in Asia, where participants can consult experts from world leading organic certification bodies on SA licenses and recent market updates. The UK-based group works closely with China’s Organic Food Development Centre to promote bilateral certified organic products.

In addition to the expanded International Pavilions that now include Taiwan, USA and even Siberia, NOPA 2015 brings many new features this year. A juicing competition sees Hong Kong’s foremost juicers fighting to be crowned Hong Kong’s Juicing Champion. A Natural Beauty & Spa Theater brings innovators, speakers and industry professionals to discuss new trends and research. Big names in the natural, organic, raw, sustainable, vegetarian, vegan and slow-food movements come together at the Natural Food Kitchen to present their ideas; and the popular Natural Business Forum returns, bringing experts, columnists and opinion-formers on stage to discuss ideas in an entertaining way.

Trade professionals can sign up easily for FREE - and should do so quickly so you don't miss out!
